Malcolm McKoy, 37, Shot On East 25th Street Late Thursday Night

Malcolm McKoy, 37, was shot on East 25th Street late Thursday night.
 
The Chattanooga Police Department responded at 11:14 p.m. to a person shot at the 2200 block of East 25th Street. Upon arrival, police located McCoy who was suffering from a gunshot wound. HCEMS responded and transported him to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Officers secured the crime scene and notified Violent Crimes Bureau investigators.
Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this incident and following all actionable leads. 
 
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423 698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
