Mary Woods
Mary Dionne Woods, 81, Naples, Florida, formerly of South Pittsburg, entered fully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on January 19, 2018, with family at her side.
Dionne was a devoted mother who did a remarkable job raising her three sons. She was compassionate, generous, meticulous, creative, organized & determined. She had the gift of nurturing, would remember your name and never forgot a birthday. She had an unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and long term member of Naples Church of Christ.
Dionne was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil C. and Mary Ellen Thomas; her two brothers, Virgil E. "Buddy" Thomas and Ronald N. Thomas.
She is survived by her sons, Sherrill E. Woods Jr., (wife, Norma), David T. Woods, (wife, Christine), and Alan E. Woods, (wife, Susan); and two grandsons; Kristopher T. Woods and Tyler A. Woods.
Interment and a short graveside service will be held at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tn., at noon Central time on Friday, Jan. 26.
