Richard “Dick” Bergman passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, in Collegedale, Tennessee. He was born on March 11, 1929, in Busti, New York.

Dick Bergman was a man who loved his wife and family dearly and considered his Lord Jesus as his best friend. He loved people—never met a stranger.

He enjoyed a successful career working for Loma Linda Foods and Harris Pine Mills. After retirement he enjoyed being a buyer/seller at the auto auctions 

His passion was for his family, automobiles and sharing the love of Jesus.

He is survived by his wife, of 67 years, Lucille Bergman, three children, David (Debbie) Bergman, Sandy (Tom) Worthen, Shari (Joel) McQuistan and brother, Dennis Bergman. He has seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

Memorial services will be on Feb. 24, at 3:30 p.m. at the Standifer Gap SDA Church, 8310 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga.
