Mary Louise Payne, 85, died peacefully at home on January 26, 2018, surrounded by her family.
She was a long time resident of Lookout Valley, Tn. She was born in October, 1932 in South Pittsburg, Tn., to the late James and Ethel Rector.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Clay Payne; brothers David Rector, Raymond (Dick) Rector and James (Kite) Rector.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Dolores) Payne of John Island, S.C., Glenn Terry Payne, of Orme, Tn., Gail Payne (Danny) Hibbs, South Pittsburg, and Teresa Payne (Rusty) Franklin, of Rossville; grandchildren, Dana Hibbs, Riley Payne, Glenna Hibbs (Wesley) Stone, Chad (Tammy) Hibbs, Matt (Amber) Franklin, Josh (Lindsey) Franklin and Chris Payne; great-grandchildren, Jake, Jared, Jace and Jackson Stone, Callie and Daniel Hibbs, Kalob Ray, Hunter, Fisher and Ethan Franklin; sisters, Shirley Hibbs, of South Pittsburg, Faye Calhoun, of Destin, Fl.; brothers, Calvin Rector, of Whitwell, Roy and Doug Rector, both of Soddy Daisy, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. central time. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 29, from 4-8 p.m. central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
