David Earl Hawk, 64, of Ooltewah, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 26, 2018.

Mr. Hawk was born and raised in Chattanooga.  David graduated from Tyner High School Class of 1971.  David was retired.  His family was his whole world.  He loved his wife and kids and grandbabies immensely.  David enjoyed boating, scooters and music.  He was a member of Sweet Georgia Sound and Jericho Brass.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie Hawk and Audrey Wade.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Regina “Gina” Hawk; son, Dmitri (Sarah) Hawk and their daughter, Julia; daughter, Allison (Scott) Shaw and their daughter, Olivia and son, Owen; and sisters, Rhonda (Lynn) Baxter and Jean Ann (David) Wilborn.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jericho Brass, the high school music program of your choice, or a favorite charity.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist,7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
