Suspect In Home Invasion On Howell Road Shot Multiple Times

Damean Jones, 21, was shot multiple times after a home invasion on Saturday night.
 
Chattanooga Police responded to a home invasion call at 11:25 p.m. at the 4300 block of Howell Road. Upon arrival, officers located the victims, Joshua Scott, 29, and Brandy Chandler, 25, inside the residence, neither of whom had suffered any physical injury.
 
Officers were advised that Jones had entered the residence with a firearm and shots were fired and then the he fled the scene. A short time later, officers were notified a person had arrived at a local hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
 
Upon arrival to the hospital, officers located Jones suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds and determined he was the suspect from the home invasion on Howell Road.
 
Warrants are on file for Jones for aggravated assault and aggravated burglary. 
 
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
