Siskin Hospital announced that David R. Barron, DPT, CLT, CIMT has passed the Great Lakes Seminars Synthesis course to become a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT).

The CIMT is awarded to physical therapists who have completed the 180-hour course series and have passed comprehensive oral, written and practical examinations.

The certification program trains therapists to assess dysfunction from a whole-body perspective. It helps a therapist "connect the dots" from the locus of pain to where symptoms are occurring using an eclectic manual therapy approach.

Dr. Barron specializes in neuro, lymphedema, vestibular and balance and is a member of Siskin Hospital’s Center for NeuroRecovery team.
