Kennedy, Barbara Ann Culver (Chickamauga)

Barbara Ann Culver Kennedy, 68, of Chickamauga, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. She was born to the late John Henry and Nannie Lee Scruggs Culver in Bridgeport, Al., lived most of her life in Chickamauga and was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Barbara retired from the K-Mart Corporation after more than 15 years and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed. 

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Culver. 

Barbara is survived by her loving son, Donnie (Christie) Kennedy; siblings, Mary Taylor, Wanda Culver, Frankie Culver, George Culver, James Culver and Jerry Culver; grandchildren, Tyler Kennedy and Austin Kennedy; and several nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, Oct. 12 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. David Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Bolivar Cemetery, Stephenson, Al. The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday and prior to the service on Friday.
