City of Ringgold Offers Curbside Recycling Program

  • Friday, October 12, 2018

Starting on the first and third Mondays of October for $25 deposit for the can and $5 a month, the mayor and City Council of Ringgold are offering residents and businesses the opportunity to have curbside recycling.

"I am very proud of the citizens of Ringgold who are willing to take the next step in reducing our waste stream," said council member Sara Clark.

To register for this curbside service, go to the Ringgold City Hall at 150 Tennessee St., visit
www.cityofringgoldga.gov or call 706-935-3061.

With your application, you will receive a list of what can and cannot be recycled.

"We will be saying goodbye to our LaFayette Street Recycling Center on Nov. 27, but if you would like to continue dropping off your recyclables, you can do so at the following locations in the cans marked for recycling," officials said.

- Ringgold City Hall on the Mountain Street side

- Ringgold Depot at 101 Depot Street

- Ringgold Public Works Shop at 761 Sparks Street

- Ringgold Recreation Complex off Emberson Drive

"Many thanks to council member Clark for her diligence in spearheading this recycling effort in the city of Ringgold," officials said.
