Willie Allene "Ann" Harkins passed away peacefully on October 11, 2018 in Decatur, Tn. after a short illness.
Originally from Florida, Ann moved to Nashville, Tn. in the early 1960s and spent most of her life in Nashville. She attended Radnor Church of Christ.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Carlie Steele Ellis; and one brother, James Ellis.
Ann is survived by her son, John (Nita) Harkins of Evensville, Tn.; a brother, Houston (Nettie) Ellis of Crestview, Fl.; a sister, Maxine Waller of Florida; her granddaughters, Sherri (Bill) Teske of Maryville, Tn., Kristi (Matt) Carr of Murfreesboro, Tn. Kimberly (James) Hankins of Pikeville, Tn.; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Michael Teske, Abby Carr, Alyssa Linebarger, and Preston Gates.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Grace Healthcare of Decatur, Tn. and Avalon hospice for their kind and loving care during her illness.
