Ronald Grady Haddock, Sr., 69, a resident of East Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Friday evening, October 12, 2018.

Ronald was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church. He served in the Army Reserves from 1970-1974. Ronald was 1st Vice Commander at the American Legion Post 95 where he was also a member of the Legion Riders. He retired in 2009 from Norfolk Southern Railroad after over 35 years of service to them. Ronald was voted “Most Witty” in high school and that was a title he carried all through his life. He was an avid Chattanooga Mocs fan, loved camping and riding motorcycles, but will be most remembered for being a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Haddock, parents, Grady and Frances Haddock, and several aunts and uncles. 

He is survived by sons, Jon Michael Haddock, Ronnie Grady Haddock, Jr. (Caitlyn Mantooth); daughters, Aisha Harbour of Ringgold, Jessica (Andy) Anderson of Chattanooga, Maggie Haddock (Joseph Turner) of East Ridge, Abbie Haddock (Zezar Balterocruz) of Charleston, S.C.; grandchildren, Ryane and Abram Harbour, Micah and Madysen Anderson, Colton Langford, Zayla Balterocruz, Zylie Balterocruz, one sister, Susan Horne (Stephen), one brother, James Michael Haddock (Karen) and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in the parlor of Companion Funeral Home, at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Phil Sumrall officiating.
