Betty Jo Rhinehart Fowler, 85, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 15, 2018. She was a life-long resident of the North Georgia area and was a member of the Faith Community Church. She retired from Memorial Hospital with more than 10 years of service and delivered Meals on Wheels for seven years after retirement.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Fowler; parents, Raymond and Mary Rhinehart; four brothers, Freddie, Lonnie, Tony and Peter Rhinehart; three sisters, Elizabeth Ware, Virginia Reavely and Jannie Hubbard; and a grandson, Chris Fowler.
Survivors are son, David (Angie) Fowler, of Rock Spring; daughters, Melba (Tommy) Hayes, of Ringgold and Dawn (Todd) Anderson, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jennifer (Casey) Wallin, Jake, Zach, Abbey and Emily Anderson; great-grandchildren, Allie Ingle, Cailey Fowler, Mason Ingle and Taylor Wallin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Joe Brown and Rev. M.C. Tolbert officiating. Interment at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
