Bids for state volleyball titles will begin for three Chattanooga teams on Tuesday.

Baylor, Sale Creek and East Hamilton start the process with defending D-II-AA state champ Baylor facing Father Ryan in their first match at Blackman.  The match is set to begin at 12:30 (CST).

East Hamilton will face Camden in its first match as these two will square off at 12:30 too on Court 1 at MTSU’s Murphy Center.  Sale Creek will face Loretto in its first match, also at MTSU on Court 1 with a 2 p.m. start time.

A Baylor win sends them to the winners bracket final on Wednesday at Siegel High School to face the winner of the Harpeth Hall-Briarcrest match.

Those first-round losers would play an elimination match at Blackman on Tuesday at 5.

The Sale Creek-Loretto winner faces the Memphis East-South Greene winner Tuesday at 5 while the two losers will battle on Tuesday at 6:30.

The East Hamilton-Camden winner advances for a match with the winner of Jackson South Side and Knoxville Catholic on Tuesday at 5 while the losers would meet on Tuesday at 8.

Championships for the two private school divisions and three public school divisions will be determined on Thursday.
