Cagle, Anita Lynn

Anita Lynn Cagle, 55 of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of the Fort Oglethorpe area. She was of the Baptist faith.  She was proud of her Cherokee Indian Heritage, and a descendant of Nancy Ward. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Rita Vines. 

She is survived by her husband, Cecil “Skip” Cagle; son, Donny (Angie) Holcomb; daughter, April (Steve) Bemis; father, Glenn Vines; brother, Glenn (Sandra) Vines, Jr.; sisters, Kathy (Rick) Burton, Donica (Norman) Branum, Rena Gribble and Selena (Tim) Shavers; and grandchildren, Katelyn, Sierra, Wyatt, Jarod and Jada Holcomb, Autumn Coley, Shelby and Cameron Peters, Aidan Holcomb and Dakota, Dawsyn and Tyler Bemis. She is also survived by nunmerous nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral in the parlor of the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with the burial to follow at Tennessee - Georgia Memorial Park.
