Ronnie Moore, Sr., of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, in a local hospital.
He attended Howard High School and was a member of Ways of Life Teaching Center. Ronnie was a member of AARP Chapter 22 and enjoyed going to Eastgate Senior Center. He was a manager at Krystal’s for 37 years.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Melissa Moore; parents, James and Leila Moore, Sr.; grandparents, David and Harriet Moore, Charlie and Vienna Dillard; brothers, James Moore, Jr., Charlie Moore, Sr., Willie Moore, and Clevon Moore; sisters, Lorraine Moten, Leila Moore, Katherine Moore, Pamela Moore, and Vickie Moore.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Gracelia Moore; son, Ronnie Moore, Jr. of Chattanooga; daughters, Claudine (Chris) Evans of Chattanooga and Tammi Miller of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Calvin (Yolanda) Moore, Sr.; sister, Carolyn Moore; in-laws, Daphney Moore, Yvonne Westfield, Deborah Allen, Paulette Ervin, Deborah Ervin, Virginia Daniel, Carolyn Daniel; aunt, Fannie Mathews of Madison, Al.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Friday, Oct. 19, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Oct. 20, at noon in the chapel with Pastor Jerry Hanner, Sr. as the eulogist. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
