A woman police said was wanted by federal marshals was arrested in East Ridge after being found with a large amount of meth.

Leslie Leavitt is facing multiple charges.

Police received a call to 4150 Ringgold Road, Walmart on a possibly intoxicated person. On police arrival a silver vehicle with a female was found partially parked in both a handicap and normal parking space.

Police made contact with the female in the driver’s seat. Her speech was slurred and her eyes were bloodshot. The woman was asked for identification, and she stated that she did not have it with her. The female then gave a name, date of birth and Social Security number. She then changed to a different last name and different Social Security number, but all information given was false, it was stated.

While checking the vehicle for her cell phone, a metal tin was located with a large amount of what appeared to be methamphetamine (70 grams).

Ms. Leavitt is scheduled to appear in East Ridge Court  on Nov. 13. Bond was set at $102,000.
