Thomas “Tommy” Elijah Beebe of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Memorial North Park Hospital in Hixson, Tennessee.
Tommy was a longtime resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. He worked 29 years for the State of Tennessee in maintenance.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maggie Sliger Beebe; and brother, Edward Beebe.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rebecca Niona Clingan Beebe; children, Tammy Beebe and Bobby Beebe of Dayton; brothers, Raymond Beebe of Red Bank, Richard Beebe of Chattanooga; sisters, Lorene (Lamar) Wilson of Sale Creek, Linda (Gary) Carmichael of Soddy Daisy; grandchildren, Brandon Beebe and Jaclyn Akina both of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 5-8 p.m.
Interment will be in Ogden Cemetery.
