For nearly a decade, Morning Pointe Senior Living has partnered with the Samaritan Center in Ooltewah, Tennessee to help bring the magic of Christmas to local children and families in need. From November through early December, Morning Pointe assisted living and memory care communities throughout the Chattanooga area collected dozens of toys to donate to the non-profit organization. The toy drive is now in its eighth year and has collected more than $8,000 in donations since 2010.
Morning Pointe residents and associates gathered at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga – Shallowford to present Samaritan Center representatives with several barrels overflowing with toys. Participating Morning Pointe communities included: Morning Pointe of Chattanooga – Shallowford, Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove, Morning Pointe of Hixson, The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Chattanooga, and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Collegedale.
“I couldn’t be more proud of all of our communities,” said Greg A. Vital, President and C.E.O. of Morning Pointe Senior Living. “Each year, it brings us much joy to partner with the Samaritan Center to open our hearts and spread holiday cheer to families throughout Hamilton County.”
