LeGrande, Myra Jean (LaFayette)

Myra Jean LeGrande, 64, of LaFayette, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette where she loved to sing in the church choir. Myra played the piano and organ for the Second Baptist Church for 48 years and worked for the LaFayette Middle School for 32 years.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Terry A. LeGrande of LaFayette; sons, Andy (Paige) LeGrande of Ringgold and Dusty (Blakely) LeGrande of LaFayette; grandchildren, Drew, Haylie, and Hattie Grace; brothers, Ralph (Becky) Maples Jr., of Ringgold, Kenneth (Doris) Maples, and David (Pam) Maples of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at First Baptist Church of LaFayette with Pastors Bill Faircloth and Mike Wallin officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ralph “Mac” Maples, Ken Maples Jr., Jason Maples, Phil Maples, Grant Blaschke, and Grayson Blaschke. Honorary pallbearers will be the First Baptist Church Choir.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Choir Fund.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.

George Emmett Ingle, 79, of Ringgold, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018.
