Myra Eaton Hawes, 66, Acworth, Ga., passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga before moving to Acworth, she was a graduate of Hixson High School, class of 69 and was retired from the office of Tony Musarra M.D. She was a member of the Resurrection Anglican Church in Woodstock, Ga.
She was the daughter of the late Sally and Woody Eaton and was also preceded in death by a brother, David Eaton.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Hawes; son Eric Hawes and her brother, Barry Eaton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association at: diabetes.org 
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Prince officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Friday, before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
