Authorities took action on Wednesday to close down a Brainerd motel after the district attorney's office filed petitions in court.
The office of DA Neal Pinkston cited over 800 calls for service to the Economy Inn at 5505 Brainerd Road from October 2015 through the end of 2017.
The incidents have ranged from attempted rapes to shootings, drug involvement and assault, the petition says.
The petition asked that the motel be closed as a public nuisance.
