Coming off two straight losses the Roadrunners would be in need of a reset game, and there's no game better than a home game against a conference foe. Dalton State would jump out to a quick 10-0 lead before a Wolf Pack timeout halted the run.

The Roadrunners would have six steals this half and score 11 points off turnovers, with the 11th point capped off with a thunderous dunk from Raheem England to make the score 27-11. The Roadrunners would play great in all phases of the game, evidenced by Isaiah Box's offensive eruption with 4 three-pointers made in the first half.

The Roadrunners would have their fingerprints all over this one and end the half up 25 points, 48-23.

The shooting woes for the Wolf Pack would continue and the aggressive defense and highly potent transition offense would continue with a steal followed up by an Aaron Burress bucket to make the score 72-49.
Loyola would not go away easy, fighting back to cut the lead to 16 with 6:44 to go.

The Roadrunners would feed the hot hand of Ty Pendley down the stretch and shoot the Wolf Pack out of the gym with the final score of 95-70.

Dalton State would improve to (20-6 overall, 12-3 SSAC) with the win, while Loyola (La.) would fall to (14-10 overall, 10-4 SSAC) with the loss. Senior Carnilious Simmons led all Roadrunners with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals. Seniors Benat Hevia and Isaiah Box followed combining for a loud 33 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Tre'von Jasmine led all Wolf Pack scorers with 15 points, with Nick Parker following him up with 14 points. Trey LaForge and Eric Brown netted 13 and 11 points respectively in the loss.

Dalton State will play University of Mobile (Ala.) on Senior Day at home in Mashburn Arena on Saturday, Feb. 17. Tip-Off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
