Minnie Pearl Laurence Neal, age 77, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2018.
She was born on Jan. 3, 1941 to the late Carry B. Lawrence and Frances Elizabeth Jackson Lawrence. She was one of the daughters of fourteen children, nine brothers, and four sisters. Mrs. Neal was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Ella (Johnny) Davis of Chattanooga; sons, Daniel (Stacey) Neal of LaFayette, Billy (Carolyn) Neal of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Rosa Helen Adams of Summerville; brother, Freeman (Lisa) Lawrence of Chattanooga; aunt, Lois Jackson of Chickamauga; sister-in-law; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 5 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 20 Parrish Circle, Chickamauga, with Rev. Hugh E. Byrd officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
