Judge Does Not Allow Testimony Of Prior Cursing Of Johnthony Walker At Students At Upcoming Bus Trial

  • Tuesday, February 20, 2018
Criminal Court Judge Don Poole has ruled that jurors in the upcoming trial of Johnthony Walker will not hear evidence about him cursing at students on prior occasions.

The defense had contended that was more prejudicial than probative. The prosecution said it showed a pattern of conduct.

Jurors in the vehicular homicide trial are to be selected in Montgomery County on Thursday with the trial starting in Chattanooga next Tuesday.

Six children died in the crash on Talley Road on Nov. 21, 2016.
