AEGIS Law Enforcement Foundation of Greater Chattanooga introduced two fully trained law enforcement K-9s Tuesday at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office West Annex. AEGIS donated the K-9s to the Rhea County Sheriff’s Office and Red Bank Police Department with the assistance of the Schillhahn-Huskey Foundation.

AEGIS Executive Director John Cosgrove shared how nearly $50,000 in grants from the Schillhahn-Huskey Foundation helped the organization place these K-9s with local law enforcement along with protective gear for the K-9s.

At the event Tuesday, law enforcement officially welcomed these two new K-9s to the community and recognized the Schillhahn-Huskey Foundation for their generosity.

Representatives from AEGIS, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Red Bank Police Department, Rhea County Sheriff’s Office, the Chattanooga Police Department and Lauren Wolfford, President of the Shillhahn-Huskey Foundation, participated in Tuesday’s announcement.
