Deere, Wright Withdraw From County Races

Two candidates have withdrawn from the upcoming county elections after qualifying earlier.

Attorney Timothy Deere will not be running as a Democratic candidate for Circuit Court judge, Division IV.

Candidates in the Republican primary are Kyle Hedrick and Catherine Cate White.

Sheldon Wright, an employee of the register of deeds office, has withdrawn from the Republican primary for that post.

Rep. Marc Gravitt and Randy Johnston, of the assessor's office, are still in the GOP primary for register of deeds.

Vickie Schroyer, who works in the office, is a Democratic candidate.
