Cynthia Diane Triplett Buck, 68, a resident of Benton, died peacefully in her home late Friday evening, February 23, 2018. Most knew Cynthia by her nickname of “Deenie”. She was a graduate of Polk County High School and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mabel Triplett; and sister, Charlotte Silvers.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Annalicia) Alexander of Amelia Island, Fl., Eddie Wilbanks of Harriman, Tn. and Jill Roberts of Benton; grandchildren, Aaliyah Alexander of Cleveland, Kannon Alexander of Ringgold, Katt Marie (Logan) Alexander Blankenship of St. Mary’s, Ga., Shane Roberts and Mackenzie Roberts, both of Benton; brother, Charles (Teresa) Triplett of Cleveland; nephews, Eric (Katherine) Silvers and Brad (Nicolle) Triplett of Cleveland. She also leaves behind several cousins and two very close friends, Reathel Mantooth and Phyllis Stephenson, both of Benton.
Cynthia requested to be cremated, with a private ceremony held on Monday, Feb. 26 for her children. A Memorial Service may be announced at a later date.
