Abe Junior Rowland, 86, of Ringgold, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. A native of Cincinnati, Ia., he has lived in the Ringgold area for the past 22 years, and was formerly of Memphis. He was a former employee of Plastico, where he worked for 17 years, a member of Brainerd Presbyterian Church and a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anne Rose Wills Rowland; father, Abraham Johnathan Rowland; and mother, Dolly Ellen Harris West.
He is survived by two sons, Jon (Laurie) Rowland of Ringgold and Paul (Samantha Williams) Rowland of Waynesville, NC; two sisters, Lois Petty and Kitty Johnson, both of Rockford, Il.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at Brainerd Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Ron Ragon officiating. The family will receive friends from noon-1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
