Senator Corker Deserves Our Gratitude

  • Tuesday, February 27, 2018

While the last few months have been difficult for Chattanooga’s own Senator Bob Corker, I sure hope the good people of our region will focus on the extraordinary contributions he has made on our behalf and express our appreciation for his strong leadership.

Our city, state and nation are all better because he served as Tennessee’s Commissioner of Finance and administration, Mayor of Chattanooga and now United States senator.

He was never really a politician, but he has been a really effective public servant. Bob Corker is and has been a strong leader.

I served with him, trust him and would still want him in a foxhole with me if under fire.

Politics has been dumbed down to a pathetic place today.  My friend Bob Corker should be proud of his service and so should we.
