Ernie Lee Wilson, 71, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at his home.

He was born in Dayton, Oh., raised in Versailles, Ky. Ernie was a plumber who also served our country in the Air Force. He enjoyed saltwater fishing, playing softball, hunting, and loved to build and repair things. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bessie Wilson.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Samantha; daughters, Lisa Wilson, Sherri (David) Potter; brother, Robert Ray (Betty) Wilson; sisters Faye Vanmeter, Brenda (Wayne) Dunsmore, Edith Burton; grandchildren, Zachary Moo young, Natalie Moo young, Jakob Ivey, Emma Ivey, Reece Potter, along with many nieces nephews and extended family.

There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, March 3, at 12 p.m. at the Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Reverend Sam Berger will be officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to Kindred Hospice or Bradley County SPCA, www.bradleycountyspca.com.
