The Evensong Service
The Evensong Service

The annual Evensong Service to benefit Metropolitan Ministries [MetMin] was held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church was held on Sunday. The service celebrated, gave thanks for and continued prayers for MetMin's volunteers and staff and featured the combined choirs from St. Paul's, St. Timothy's, St. Mark's, Grace Church, and Good Shepherd.

An open plate offering was taken to help further support MetMin's mission to stop homelessness before it starts. Thanks to the generosity of the attendees, gifts yielded over $2,000.

MetMin officials said the ministry is "deeply grateful for the support of all those who attended, and thanks be to all those who made this Evensong service such a success. A deep bow to Sally Durand, The Rev. Brad Whitaker, Dr. Keith Reas and all the musicians and volunteers who participated in this joyous event."

Metropolitan Ministries is a community hub where people come together in compassion, kindness, and mutual respect to provide needed assistance that prevents homelessness and fosters hopefulness.
