David A. Burnette
David A. Burnette passed away suddenly on January 25, 2018, in a local health facility, of complications from chronic health issues.

David was a proud graduate of Brainerd High School. He was a national sales rep. for Sysco Co.  David played for the semi-pro football team Chattanooga Cherokees.  He was a passionate Tennessee Vols fan, loved to share stories, and he loved life.

David left behind a son, Derek Vance Burnette, daughter Christine Burnette Bennett, brothers Mike, Charlie, Harold and Pete, and his baby sister Diane.

David requested no memorial.  His ashes will scattered in Knoxville, near his childhood home where he lived and played.
