Dorothy (Dot) Wofford Garrett, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died in her sleep on February 4, 2018, after celebrating her 86th birthday.

She was born in Chattanooga, the daughter of Thomas and Lena Rowe Wofford and was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Emily Wofford, Margaret Wise, Charlotte Conner and brother, Erwin Wofford.

She is survived by brother, Leslie (Clara) Wofford of Birmingham, Al., and several nieces and nephews.

She was a lifelong member of Concord Baptist Church.  

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Concord Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. at the church with Dr. David King officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Concord Baptist Church.
