Jimmy Wayne Cagle, 71, of Whitwell, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018. Mr. Cagle served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ruby Cagle; sisters, Naomi Griffith and Bo French; brothers, Billy Cagle, Luther Cagle, Howard Cagle, Charles Cagle and Larry Cagle.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 24 years, Edith Cagle; five children, Tina (Mike) Curbow, Eric Cagle, Jennie Barnett, Coty Cagle and Nick Cagle; sister, Ruth Freeman; brother, Bobby Cagle; three grandchildren, Kayla Curbow, Haley Cagle and Michael Curbow; two great-grandchildren; and two fur babies, Molly & Missy.
Family will receive friends noon-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Charlie Campbell officiating. Interment at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens. Military honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
