Cleveland Symphony Guild sponsors the Youth Concert, Compose Yourself! on Friday at North Cleveland Church of God. Performed by the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra, 3rd-5th grade students will enjoy the performance featuring composers Francis Scott Key and James Stephenson.

Dayton City School Named Level 5 School For 2nd Consecutive Year

Dayton City School has been named a Level 5 School District by the Tennessee Department of Education, state officials announced on Thursday. America Burnett, a student at Cleveland State Community College, is one of 207 Phi Theta Kappa members named a 2018 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar and will receive a $1,000 scholarship.  The Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholarship Program helps new Phi Theta Kappa members defray educational expenses while enrolled in associate degree programs. Lebron Hankins, 62, Stabbed And Killed Late Friday Night In Rossville

Lebron W. Hankins, Jr., 62, of Rossville, was stabbed and killed Friday night. Walker County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a 911 call at 2012 Rogers Road, Rossville, on Friday. Wall Collapses At Home On Bradford Place Drive

Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a structural collapse call shortly after  10 a.m. on Saturday .   When firefighters arrived at 307 Bradford Place Drive, a large hole could be seen on one side of the house.
