Boyd, Randle "Randy" Wayne (Ringgold)

Randle (Randy) Wayne Boyd, 63, of Ringgold, formerly of East Ridge, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in a local hospital.  He was a graduate of East Ridge High School, class of 1973,  and a graduate of UTC, with a degree in geology, He worked as a geologist until he joined Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #43.  He was an avid military history enthusiast and loved rock climbing, hiking, woodworking, cycling, photography, guns, knives and, most of all, his  family.  He was a member of Burning Bush Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Jacob (Natalie) Boyd, Rock Spring and Tyler (Jenny) Boyd, Ringgold; three brothers, Brad (Betsy) Boyd, III, Houston, Tx., Kenneth (Elaine) Boyd, Knoxville and Tim (Jan) Boyd, Chattanooga; four grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
