Traffic Signal Will Be Out At MLK And Central OnTuesday

Effective Tuesday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the traffic signal at ML King Boulevard and Central Avenue will be non-functioning. 

Drivers are advised to use caution when approaching the intersection and treat it as a 4-way stop.

The mother of a 15-year-old boy who was killed by his father said Michael McElrath had been acting "manic" in the days leading up to the tragic incident in Hixson on Aug. 18.
