Race Shaping Up For District 6 School Board Vacancy

Jenny Hill is the first to qualify to run for the District 6 County School Board post being vacated by Joe Galloway, of Lookout Valley.

Michael Henry and James Pope have picked up papers.

The qualifying deadline is April 5.

Ann Jones Pierre has qualified to run against incumbent Karitsa Mosley Jones

Tucker McClendon has qualified to run for the District 8 seat held by David Testerman.

Joe Smith in District 3 and Steve Highlander in District 8 thus far have no opposition.
