James Lowell Bennett Sr., 92, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on March 12, 2018.
He was born on Aug. 24, 1925, to the late Roy and Mary Bennett. James worked as a supervisor at Doplun Yarn Company and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved to play golf and was a founding member of Waterville Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Bennett, and two brothers, Roy Bennett and Ray Bennett.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 68 years, Billie Jean Bennett; two sons, Dennis Bennett and James Bennett Jr.; brother, Jack Bennett, and sister, Barbara Isaacson; and five grandchildren.
James will be interred at Chattanooga National Cemetery. No public services will be held at this time.
