Chattanooga Generosity Event Set For April 17

  • Thursday, March 15, 2018

Pastors and church leaders are meeting for lunch April 17 to learn about growing whole-life generosity year round without fundraising. The free lunch at The Feed Co. Table & Tavern at 201 West Main St. is sponsored by the Maclellan Foundation and GenerousChurch.

Guests will hear how a Kansas City church soared to new heights in giving, volunteering, and community impact in the past three years. Pastor Mike Bickley of Olathe Bible Church (Kansas) and Patrick Johnson of GenerousChurch will be the hosts.

The first 50 to register for the two-hour event will receive two gifts. The first is “Generosity Reset,” a short book with nine ways to grow generosity in churches apart from fundraising. The second is “Overflow Offering,” a resource with 26 teaching ideas and 12 links to short videos to inspire generosity week by week.

Registration is at www.generouschurch.com/events or by email to cindy@generouschurch.com.
