Marcella “Maw” Davis Smith, 88 of Chattanooga died March 17, 2018. Marcella was a member of Bartlebaugh Baptist church for 60 plus years. She was a secretary at Equifax for over 30 years.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Evelyn Davis, her husband, Luther “Luke” Smith, a son, Stephen “Steve” Smith and brothers, Jim and Jack Davis.
Marcella is survived by her son, Benny (Judy) Smith of Kingston; daughter, Janet (Rick) Vickrey of Mount Juliet; and daughter-in-law, Linda Smith of Chattanooga; sister, Joyce (Bill) Bush; Ralph Davis and Clifford (Mary) Davis.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20.
Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Don Ferguson officiating
I.nterment will follow 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bartlebaugh Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bartlebaugh Baptist Church or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
