Teresa Groves, an affiliate broker with Real Estate Partners Chattanooga LLC, has earned the nationally recognized Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation from the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors.
Officials said, "Working with seniors to meet their housing needs requires an expert understanding of their lifestyle and financial needs, and the SRES designation means that a realtor has that understanding. Whether they are buying or selling, seniors can be confident that a realtor designated SRES will be able to help them every step of the way.
"A SRES can help homeowners downsize and buy a smaller home or help homeowners sell their home to move to a retirement facility."
Ms. Groves is the former executive officer of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chattanooga. She worked for BB&T where she was an assistant vice president in the Residential Construction Department. She has been a multi-million-dollar producer since she joined the real estate industry.
