Carla Marcine Hickey Mitchell, 75, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 19, 2018. She was born to the late Carl Merriman and Virginia Hickey Page and spent most of her adult life in Lake City, Fl., before moving back to Rossville in 2009. Carla was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, George Mitchell of Madisonville, Ky., James K. Mitchell of Rossville and Marcine Mitchell of Rossville; sister, Lynn Ricker; grandchildren, John and Julie; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 23 at Fairview United Methodist Church, Rossville.
