Getting Big Money Out Of Our Political Elections

  • Saturday, March 24, 2018

I am David Anderson, a candidate for the U.S. Senate in the upcoming Republican primary. I will be running an unusual campaign as I intend to go to Washington to represent the people of Tennessee and not special interests.

When I began talking to folks "in the know" about a Senate race, they told me it will take $10 million to $12 million to run an effective campaign. Now think about that - if I need to acquire that much money to run a campaign who will I be representing? It would be special interest groups that gave me the money, not the people of Tennessee. That is not me.

We need to get the big money out of government if we are going to change how our government operates. If we keep electing these same people we are going to keep getting the same results.

For the people only.
