Breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant First Watch on Thursday announced that it will open its second Chattanooga-area First Watch eatery on Monday at 300 Cherokee Blvd. The new eatery will be the seventh First Watch location opened by Capstone Concepts, a Knoxville-based franchise group that currently owns and operates First Watch restaurants in Knoxville, Johnson City and Chattanooga in addition to two Mr. Gatti’s Pizza restaurants and one The Egg & I restaurant in Knoxville.
In conjunction with the opening, First Watch will donate all money raised from a pre-opening event to Northside Neighborhood House in an effort to help promote the independents of residents north of the river by providing a hand up through education and assistance.
“We have had our eye on the Northshore market for quite some time and could not be more excited about how this has turned out,” said James Geib, chief operating officer for Capstone Concepts, LLC. “We know this is a tight knit community, and we love having the opportunity to become a part of what is going on here.”
He said, "First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes crave-able items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The new restaurant will offer healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables and cage-free eggs as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings."
The new First Watch will also serve the restaurant’s new Project Sunrise coffee, grown by an independent group of female farmers in Huila, Colombia, called Mujeres en Café. The restaurant will also offer options from its Juice Bar – including the best-selling Kale Tonic – juiced in-house daily using only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.
First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
