Anne Austin
Cornelia Anne Doughty Austin, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, March 2.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Newby Austin; parents, Helen and Charles Doughty; sisters, Frances Doughty Cowan and Louise Doughty Webb.
Survivors include her brother, Charles Doughty of Greenville, S.C.; her loving children, Joe (Susan) Austin of Terrace Park, Oh., and Mary Anne Dunkin of Roswell, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Dan Austin of Washington, D.C., John Austin of Wellington, New Zealand, Brian Austin of Los Angeles, Sarah Austin of Brentwood, Ca., Becca, Libby and Matthew Dunkin of Roswell, Ga.; and one great-granddaughter, Kylie Munson of Roswell, Ga.
Anne was a loving aunt and great-aunt to the many members of the Cowan family of Chattanooga and the Webb families of Cookeville, Tn., and Atlanta.
The family will receive friends at Rivermont Presbyterian Church, 3319 Hixson Pike, on Tuesday, March 6, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family requests donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in lieu of flowers.
