First Things First Hosts Kickin It With Dad On Saturday

  • Monday, March 5, 2018

First Things First’s new event, Kickin’ it with Dad, will be held Saturday. This fun day of recreational-style soccer will be held in partnership with the Chattanooga Football Club at the Highland Park Commons and Soccer Fields.

Kickin’ it with Dad is designed to be an active day for dads and their children to spend time together and enjoy each other’s company. The day will be filled with games, music, door prizes and more. Each dad will leave with tools that will give them pro-level dad skills they can use to strengthen their fathering game. Research shows that children are better in every area of their life when a dad is active in their lives, said officials.

Fathers, grandpas, uncles and mentors are all encouraged to bring the children in their lives. Tickets are $20 for an adult and one child, and $10 for each additional child. Children must be 5 or older to play, and concessions will be available to keep everyone energized.
