Ramona Dawn Reid, 54, of Ringgold, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Ramona was born in 1964, in Abilene, Tx. to the late Rev. Pierce Douglas Reid Sr. and Vallie Lane Reid. She was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, receiving her masters in social work, and went on to work for and retired from the Gulfport Senior Center in Gulfport, Ms. Ramona was a member of Calvary Chapel of Ringgold.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Philip Daniel Reid and Rev. Pierce Douglas Reid Jr.
Survivors are sisters, Dawn Fuller, of Ringgold and Diane Kidd, of Fort Oglethorpe; nephews, Pierce Douglas Reid III, Philip Reid, Daniel Reid and John Reid, all of Gulfport, Ms.; nieces, Nikki Nigh, Shawn Collins, Michelle Hopkins, all of Gulfport; several other nieces and nephews from Ringgold; and very special family friends, Elsie Herrington and Rachel.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Philip McMurrin officiating. Interment will be in Catoosa Memory Gardens, Ringgold.
