The Southern States Athletic Conference released the 2018 Women's Golf All-Conference, All-Freshman, All-Academic and Musco Lighting Champions of Character Teams Monday evening at the SSAC Women's Golf Awards Banquet.
All-Conference Breakdown
· The 12-person honorary squad is comprised of six sophomores, three juniors, two seniors and one freshman
· Tia Teiniketo of Dalton State (4th – 75.21), Aleesha Smith of William Carey (6th – 75.29), Hannah Sager of Faulkner (17 – 76.31), Caroline Griffin of Dalton State (21st – 77.11), Katie Dalton of Dalton State (35th – 77.36), Isabel Rijos of Dalton State (40th – 77.36) and April Leonard of William Carey (55th – 78.60) are among the national leaders in the Golfstat Head-to-Head Rankings
· Smith, Teiniketo, Reid, Rijos and Leonard are on the team for the second-straight season, while Dalton, Sager and Griffin are on the squad for the third-straight season
