Yahaira Cope, life enrichment director at Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove, has been spreading awareness about Alzheimer's disease and participating in fundraisers since she joined the assisted living community nearly two years ago.
Today, she wants to make an event bigger impact and has joined the Alzheimer’s Association Mid-South Chapter’s 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer's committee.
Mr. Cope attended the Alzheimer’s Association Region 8 Committee Training Summit in Nashville, and looks forward to forming new partnerships to help take the cause to new heights.
"I am fired up about finding a cure," said Ms. Cope "This condition has touched so many seniors and families who are dear to me, and so I want to help make a difference in their lives."
